Tata Harper Refreshing Cleanser

Lately, my skin wasn't looking it's best and I was frantically on the hunt for a cleanser that would help stop the hormonal acne I was facing.  I had been using a cleanser which I will write about in the coming posts, but the current one on today's agenda has stolen the show!!  I am talking about none other than Tata Harpers Refreshing Cleanser.

Tata Harper Refreshing Cleanser (new bottle)

Refreshing Cleanser

I ordered this cleanser in early March and have been using it ever since.  It is a peachy colored, light enzymatic cleanser in a glass bottle, that should be used on dry skin.  The aroma is absolutely divine and smells like fresh flowers to me!  I massage the cleanser for a good 1 - 2 minutes on my dry skin and allow myself to relax and pamper myself after a long tiring day.

At first, I was using this cleanser for both morning and evening cleansing routines, but in April, I was in different climatic surroundings and noticed that my pores were getting clogged.  I decided to use another cleanser for the day and a gentle one for the night.

So far, I have seen improvement *knock on wood* with regards to the bumps and hormonal acne that was troubling me.  I am almost out of the cleanser, have a quarter of the bottle left and only use 1 pump which is more than enough.

If you are looking for a foaming cleanser, let me have you know - THIS ISN'T IT!  The Refreshing Cleanser doesn't lather up and it might take a little getting used to if you have switched like I did from a foaming cleanser.  Nevertheless, I have gotten accustomed to this method of cleansing and can honestly vouch that Tata Harper products are of top-notch quality!

However, I would like to add that her line is quite expensive and sets you back a whopping $75 for a 125ml bottle.  Since it is in a weighty glass bottle, it might be difficult to travel with.  I would certainly pump out some of the cleanser in small travel bottles for holidays rather than lugging the bottle around - a potential risk of getting smashed in the suitcase.

I wish this product was more consumer friendly in terms of price, but I got to give her credit for such an amazing cleanser for those of us with sensitive and/or dry skin.  I would whole-heartedly recommend this and am thinking of purchasing my second bottle before I run out.

Have you tried Tata Harper's Refreshing Cleanser? .. What were your thoughts on this product? ..

Until my next post,

Toodles!!! ..

Living with constant air conditioning in sunny, Saudi Arabia, my skin tends to lose moisture.  I can't reapply moisturizers on top of make-up when I am on the go.  So, I love to use facial sprays as they kill two birds with one stone.  They are great for adding dewiness to the skin and also great pick me ups during the working day.  A inexpensive option which I have tried and come to love is the  Mario Badescu Skincare Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rose Water. Philip Kingsley Body Building Shampoo Philip Kingsley Body Building Shampoo works like a charm on thin or fine to limp hair by adding body and texture to it.  I find that it also clarifies my hair just as well as any clarifying shampoo.  My hair tends to dry out a bit if I don't use a conditioner.   But, nothing really comprises the body this bad boy gives.  It retails for  £18 at www.l ookfantastic.com for a bottle of 250ml.
