Tieks .. My latest OBSESSION!!!

For quite some time I have been interested in these ballet flats by the brand Tieks. They are marketed as soft ballet flats that mold to the shape of your feet, providing great comfort AND have a teal sole as a statement mark.

The Rose Gold Glam pair had caught my eye whilst surfing the net late night as I usually do and found them to be undoubtedly gorgeous!!

I have occasionally visited the website in hopes of placing an order, but the sizing is confusing and I haven't been able to make a purchase. This time round, I was determined to sort out the sizing dilemma and in order to get a clearer idea of how their sizing works, I contacted Tieks.

I was advised the following by Alex Hurd, "We've found that because of the way Tieks stretch and mold to your foot, most half size women can comfortably size up or down, and often both. We typically recommend half size women to size down, unless you have a wide foot or sometimes size up. They should stretch where pressure is applied, but you shouldn't expect them to stretch in length."

According to Alex's recommendation, I think I will definitely order up and get a size 7 since I am a US 6.5. I don't want my toes to be crammed and poking out of the leather with a size 6. From pictures I have seen on Instagram, the shape of your toes, mostly likely will show a bit which I think is unavoidable - but that doesn't bother me as long as I have comfortable fit.

I am just about to place my first order and hope to like them as much as everyone does!!
