ALPHA H Liquid Gold with Glycoiic Acid Review

Exfoliating ones skin is necessary to keep it from looking dull and preventing clogged pores.  Many people choose to use abrasive physical exfoliants that do sometimes irritate the skin.  I, on a personal level, don't like using those physical exfoliants as they tend to damage my skin no matter how gentle I am.  There had come a time when I didn't want to exfoliate my skin as I would get bumps and scratches from the usual process.  Then I came across, Alpha H.  I was inttrigued by the brand and read up on it.  I decided to try the glycolic acid based chemical exfoliant as a dermotologist had previously given me a face wash and a facial topical lotion that had contained alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs).

I didn't know what to expect and I was somewhat apprehensive.  I followed the instructions to the 'T' and didn't want to experiment with it; and damage my skin since it was a concentrated chemical.  Before bedtime, I cleansed my skin with a gentle face wash. After shaking the bottle well, I dabbed it on to a cotton pad and swiped it all over my face, neck, and décolletage.  

Once I it began to dry, I began to feel slight tingling and my face turned a pinkish color.  It was nothing that alarmed me as my skin had become accustomed to AHAs from the products given by the dermatologist. Those products did burn my skin on application and were a bit too drying as my skin had some peeling then. 

With ALPHA H Liquid Gold, I didn't experience any peeling.  After each application, I wake up with soft, fresh, dewy skin - something that we all wish for!  I noticed that my pores look smaller and tighter after using Alpha H.  Foundation applies much more smoothly and there is no texture to the skin.  Those stubborn bumps disappear and the serums and moisturizers absorb much better and deeper into the skin as well.

I use ALPHA H Liquid Gold with Glycolic Acid every two days as I have sensitive skin and don't want to overuse the chemical.  I would highly recommend this product to those looking for a safe and less abrasive way to exfoliate the skin which requires no scrubbing!! A win-win situation in my opinion.
