My Undying Lust for the Louis Vuitton Artsy MM

It has been quite a long while since my love affair with the Louis Vuitton Artsy MM began.  I think it was back in 2009 when the bag was first launched and it was love at first sight!!  It had been on my mind, but due to the unforeseen happenings in my life,  with time I forgot about it.

About a month ago, my love surfaced once again for the bag as I saw a friend's friend with the it.  I was again having sleepless nights thinking about the bag.  Any bag lover can surely relate to my dilemma.

I thought long and hard over it and if I should finally give in and splurge on this naughty purchase. I contacted the Louis Vuitton Customer Service and inquired about the bag.  It retails for 7,550 SR (Saudi Riyals), but wasn't available at the store currently.

At this point, it was something that I really had to have and began browsing the net in hopes of getting it shipped from abroad.  This didn't end well.  I did find a site from which I could place the order and it seemed legitimate.  But, when I went to pay for it, my bank declined the payment.  I tried this a couple of times and with different debit cards - the same thing happened.  This hit home and I quickly inferred that this was a spam site.

The next day, my bank contacted me and asked me about some payments.  Shockingly, I came to know that they were counterfeit bags and those people running the site tried to use my debit card to buy things in Hong Kong.  Luckily, the bank had blocked the transactions and their plans were foiled.  I then was issued with a new debit card.

I would like to warn my readers to be careful when trying to purchase a Louis Vuitton bag online.   There are many fake sellers out there claiming to sell authentic bags.  Sadly, they are just scammers waiting to steal your money.  So please do beware!

The lesson I learnt was that it's better to purchase it from a Louis Vuitton store than to find ways to hastily order it online from a supposed legitimate seller.  I hope you all can learn from my experience.

Alas, still on the hunt for a genuine Louis Vuitton Arty!!  ...

Loadsa love,

Fatima
