As we are steadily entering the spring months, we all are trying to get rid of the dry, flakey skin we tend to get living in cold climates and environments with constant air conditioning also contributes to such skin conditions. I, myself, fall in the latter category and decided to raid my beauty stash looking for something that would help get rid of the flakiness I was suffering from on my chin. I stumbled upon THE BODY SHOP's Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil.
THE BODY SHOP Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil
The serum comes in 28ml pink bottle which is quite cute and looks so girly sitting on the vanity!! *huge smiles* A pipette (dropper) is used to dispense the serum and one of the best that I have used so far! Some are so poorly made that you have to pump several times to get the right amount of product you want to apply.
The serum is great for "recharging and replenishing moisture" back into the skin for unto 8 hours as stated by The BODY SHOP's website! Furthermore, I have noticed my skin looks much more plump, fresh, and glowy after leaving the serum on overnight!
With regards to the serum, it is lightweight and pretty liquidy. It is not a heavy or sticky oil like some others which are pretty hyped about nowadays. I for one do like it as i don't feel greasy and it absorbs almost instantly! You can easily apply this even in the morning and your foundation won't slip and slide!! A bonus I would say. The serum leaves a satin finish to the skin which I love!
The Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil is highly fragranced on the other hand. I would have preferred if it was of a lighter smell or unfragranced. I personally associate the smell with Johnson's Baby Lotion, something about it which just makes me think of that whenever applying it. Nevertheless, I will continue to use the serum until I finish the bottle.
Oils are very popular these days in the beauty world and this is a great product to start off with if you are trying serum oils for the first time. The product is affordable and certainly won't break the bank!
Do let me know how you like it and what your experience has been using the Serum-In-Oil!!
See y'all in my next post!
